  1. I have to be the lone dissenting voice. I don't understand any of this. I liked the WordPress Classic Editor — it took me six months to learn that. I want a blogging platform that is as simple to use as posting on Facebook or writing an email. This is way over my head.

  2. I'm having so much trouble with the new editor so I need to watch this. Question, I wrote a post tonight and it is not appearing on my blog as the most recent post. Any clue why? Thx. I'll be watching this….

  3. Great introduction to Gutenberg – Much appreciated

  4. Thx and god bless you ^_^

  5. Thank you for the tutorial, but my question is, what about you made a mistake while editing your post, how are you suppose to turn it back to it original state.

  6. Great explanation. I've been pulling my hair out over this editor. Can you tell me how to change the text colour on that title "Welcome to Gutenburg"?

  7. This helped MUCH

  8. Is there a way to resize a block?

  9. Thank you so much for this tutorial 🙏🏻🌹i have question please, is there anyway to edit certain word through all the page. I mean it takes time to edit one by one 🤦🏼‍♀️if there's a faster way help me please 🙏🏻

  10. Thanks very helpful

  11. WOW! Thank you so much for such a great tutorial. Really, really well done.

  12. Remarkable… thanks very much indeed. I've resisted Gutenberg for so long, but the transition will now be very smooth. I'd assumed such functionality was only available via premium editors.

  13. Thanks for the fruitful information you have provided in the video. I still have a question for which I didn't find an answer up to now: how to resize a column/cell. i.e, decrease/increase its width manually to the size I want instead of having it stretched from extreme left to extreme right. (As it is possible with Microsoft word: Draw a table). Sorry for any disturbance and thanks again.

  14. Unfortunately, no help at all. My backend doesn't look anything like this (someone else set up Gymedge and sliders and all kinds of stuff I don't understand). I can't find the text I need to change. I can't find out how to change the pictures.

  15. how to enter a new paragraph in MacBook air ?? which key we can use to enter a new line on MacBook?

  16. Thanks for such an easy to understand tutorial WPBeginner!

  17. after watching your video, now i understand why i should stay on classic editor

    Thank you!

  18. thanks a bunch!

  19. Amazing

  20. You didn't show how to sign out… it took me agaes to NOT find it!!

  21. This is one of the best tutorials on the block editor that I have come across. You always explain things in such an easy to understand and follow method. Thanks, and keep them coming. 🙂

  22. I'm a beginner at this so barring the use of CSS , the editor doesn't seem to give you a lot of control over placement of objects or spacing between them.

  23. So me, as a theme dev, i dont need do something, bcs everything is done 😀 okay

  24. Someone please tell me why my wordpress page doesn't look like that. How do I access the Gutenberg side of things. I have envato newsroom theme

  25. Its easy to add a block and reuseable block, etc. But how do you delete a block? So frustrating….

  26. do I like madam ofc I would like

  27. Does the title has any config? Like font size, text alignment, color…? I see there's just one single way to write titles… Thanks!

  28. Hi, great video. What I'm wondering though is how can I reduce or elimate spacing between some blocks if I want to?

  29. How do I add footnotes?

  30. Complete beginner here so this might be highly common sense question 🙂 when you want to create web page templates like the kind you can buy on etsy is that straight coding to create those?

  31. Thank you Christina, I am an avid fan of yours.
I have search both plugins and wordpress.org for:
Advanced Gutenberg – Blocks, Permissions, Layouts, Forms and CSS Styles
but I canot find the one by: Advanced Gutenberg ?

  32. Thanks for posting. I had used the classic editor for years and was almost ready to ditch WP when I tried to make a recent post. Thanks for the info.
